Social Media Intern
5-10 hours/week time commitment
Location: Anywhere in Washington, Seattle office available
We are looking for driven Social Media Interns to create and maintain a strong online presence for ArtsEd on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Interns will curate compelling content that speaks to our mission and interests across social media accounts, all with the intention of increasing site traffic, engagement, and awareness about ArtsEd Washington.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to research and keep up with current trends in social media and digital communication
- Creativity in producing engaging text, images, and video content that will sustain readers’ curiosity and expand their knowledge of us and arts education
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate online conversations and respond to queries
- Organized and plans ahead, developing an optimal posting schedule considering traffic and engagement metrics
- Pitch social media strategies to attract new advocates
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Expertise in or enthusiasm for a particular social media platform
- Previous social media management experience or other transferable experience a plus
