Political Intern
10-20 hours/month time commitment
Location: Anywhere in Washington, Seattle office available
We are seeking a Political Intern to help mobilize arts education supporters in the political sphere. Tasks for the Political Intern will include coordinating the scheduling of political stakeholders at the legislative, local, and school board levels; researching and organizing policy information for winter lobbying; and creating and implementing ArtsEd Ambassador onboarding and training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for local/state politics and political advocacy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Personable and outgoing character
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in legislative work, lobbying, or other transferrable experience a plus
