Outreach Contributor

We are looking for an exceptional Outreach Contributor to expand and diversify our existing member base. Through community building and engagement, you will educate individuals and groups and further our mission to advocate for equitable access to Arts Education throughout Washington.

Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative community builder. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you!

Purpose: Help further ArtsEd Washington’s goal of building a culturally diverse and pluralistic organization committed to advocating for equitable access to Arts Education throughout Washington.

Location: Anywhere in Washington (Office available in Seattle)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the mission of ArtsEd Washington programs and plan activities to further engage individual and groups
  • Establish effective relationships with representatives of community and social and civic organizations
  • Engage community members to increase their knowledge of Arts Education
  • Help create culturally responsive outreach materials
  • Contribute to social media sites to keep further awareness
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and reports to develop and sustain local strategies

Time Commitment: Between 8-10 hours per month

Copywriter

We are looking for a creative Copywriter to write clear and concise copy for publications and our website. Your words will inform and engage audiences about ArtsEd Washington and further its mission to advocate for equitable access to Arts Education throughout Washington.

Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you!

Submit up to three writing samples, so we can get an idea of your best work.

Purpose: Help further ArtsEd Washington’s mission through compelling online and printed content.

Location: Anywhere in Washington (Office available in Seattle)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. blog posts, newsletters, guides)
  • Conducting high-quality research and interviews
  • Collaborate with executive director, subject matter experts, and other volunteers
  • Source images and other content
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed

Time Commitment: Between 8-10 hours per month

Campaign Coordinator

We are looking for a Campaign Coordinator to participate in our advocacy campaigns. Your main responsibilities include conducting market research, producing promotional materials and analyzing engagement data.

Our ideal candidate is able to interpret constituents’ behavior and suggest creative ways to increase mission awareness. If you have excellent communication skills and a passion for advertising strategies, we want to meet you.

Purpose: Ensure ArtsEd Washington’s marketing efforts help us achieve our immediate and long-term advocacy goals.

Location: Anywhere in Washington (Office available in Seattle)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research to analyze constituents’ behavior (e.g. responsiveness, trends, and preferences)
  • Design and implement successful advocacy campaigns
  • Set up tracking systems for online advocacy activities
  • Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing campaign data
  • Collaborate to produce promotional materials
  • Organize promotional activities for advocacy efforts
  • Prepare campaign calendar

Time Commitment: Between 8-10 hours per month

Event Planner

We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Planner to produce events from conception through to completion. Event Planner responsibilities include organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.

Purpose: Coordinate ArtsEd Washington’s events in order to help us achieve our immediate and long-term advocacy goals through community engagement in events.

Location: Anywhere in Washington (Office available in Seattle)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event planning, design, and production while managing element within time limits
  • Propose ideas to create engaging, quality events
  • Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
  • Specify volunteer requirements and coordinate their activities
  • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day

Time Commitment: Flexible and variable by event type

Social Media Administrator

We are looking for talented Social Media Administrators for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and Snapchat to create and maintain a strong online presence for ArtsEd Washington. Your role is to curate compelling content and expand our advocacy through social media accounts.

If you are a tech-savvy professional with an interest in communicating advocacy through online channels, we would like to meet you.

Purpose: Develop and curate content and suggest creative ways to attract more advocate and promote our mission. Ultimately, you should be able to increase traffic and engagement.

Location: Anywhere in Washington (Office available in Seattle)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Create engaging text, image and video content
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and expand their knowledge
  • Facilitate online conversations and respond to queries
  • Report on online reviews and feedback
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering traffic and engagement metrics
  • Oversee your social media account’s layout
  • Suggest new ways to attract new advocates, like promotions and competitions

We are looking for a creative Graphic designer to help us communicate ArtsEd Washington’s message with high visual impact. Social media graphics, collateral creation, and promotional materials are some of the products you’ll work on.

Purpose: Expand the accessibility of ArtsEd Washington’s mission with graphics support.

Location: Anywhere in Washington (Office available in Seattle)

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a solid body of work
  • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
  • Think creatively within ArtsEd Washington’s brand guidelines
  • Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas

Volunteer Coordinator

We are looking for a great Volunteer Coordinator to recruit and support volunteers.

You should be a leader able to distinguish talent and have creative ways to motivate and inspire. You must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experience.

Purpose: Ensure that ArtsEd Washington is always supported by the best and most reliable individuals and that they are correctly utilized for the fulfillment of our mission.

Location: Anywhere in Washington (Office available in Seattle)

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit volunteers through various techniques (databases, e-mail, social media etc.)
  • Collect information on availabilities and skills
  • Arrange for appropriate training when needed
  • Communicate frequently with volunteers to ensure they are satisfied and well-placed
  • Disseminate information about upcoming actions and events

Time Commitment: Between 8-10 hours per month
